With augmented lenses students may never need a textbook or even a computer to retrieve information. By using their smartphone and trigger images in their environment, students could access all their learning content through their enhanced vision.

Magic Leap is the near future of AR for education. Magic Leap projects the images onto the eye so Augmented images appear to exist as if in the real world, this is different than previous AR where the image is created on a screen or AR glasses. Magic Leap is the convergence of VR and AR.
